New MTC wireless activation is subject to approval. Deposit may be required. Cellular service requires continuous service for twelve (12) or twenty-four (24) months from date of activation, upgrade, or rate plan change to different family of plans. Failure to keep continuous service will result in an early termination fee of $200. However, if not satisfied with MTC’s service within 14 days of activation, service may be canceled without an early termination fee upon the return of the equipment in its original condition. Other charges, including airtime usage, may still apply.
Monthly service charges are billed in advance. Airtime is billed in one (1) minute increments from connection to disconnection. Calls made and received outside the MTC local service area may be billed 90 days in arrears and charged as if used in the month billed. Toll charge is $.07 per minute if free long distance is not chosen. Local calling scope consists of 80+ listed prefixes.
Peak period: M-F 6 a.m. - 8:59 p.m.; Off Peak M-F 9 p.m. - 5:59 a.m., Saturday and Sunday.
